Adena's thoughts are abruptly broken as a channeled beam of blinding pain slams into her like a charging krate Dragon, her mind feeling as if it were being burned her chest becoming tight, she felt as if the universe was trying to turn itself inside out, and she was its seam...
with her words growing dim in the pain, her eyes becoming an almost ambiant Emerald Adena opens her mouth , releasing her expression of anger, and agony, her voice amplified to almost sonic decibles, its howling echo traveling like a shock wave set by a sizmic charge, the scream laced with the force to carry it with the force of an angery tempest, and then silence as the Golden Huntress collapses, the pain having become to intence to bare for now and conscianceness escapes her

*She drops the picks and covers her ears crying out in pain as the scream fills her own ears. She feels as if her head will explode. She falls to the ground and curls into the fetal position. She wonders what is going on. She has never heard something like that before. Suddenly it all stops, she feels her head still aching from the noise and tries to get a grip on reality again.*

*She all but tumbles out of the chair, like a coiled spring now released. Her body still aches but at least it doesn't burn as it did. She felt Adena's reaction to the pain and smiles. It wasn't nice or pleasent but it was effective. The remote having did its job put the ion limpet mine through an old cargo arm sphincter in the side of the ship. She triggered it. The explosion of charged ions swept towards Adena's ship, wreaking havok on systems ship wide. She gathered herself and despite the pain reached out to Arael*
"Come quickly my darling, it will not disable her for long."
*She began to power up the systems on the Delight.*

*She gets to her feet quickly picking the lock and makes it out. She runs for Lirreka's ship. She sees Adena on the ground and stops to look upon her for a minute. She laughs at her and then runs heading towards Lirreka's ship. She gets inside and flops in one of the seats.*
"Now THAT was close."

*She smiles at Arael as she triggers the outer hatch to close and tears away the umbilical if necessary. She punches in coordinates for Hapes. Despite the battered exterior the engines of the Delight gave the ship considerable speed and distance. She used it all now to get to the hyperspace vector before Adena awoke.*
"But close is always more memorable." She leans over to hug Arael. "I was afraid she would hurt you... She forced you to sleep..." The fear in Lirreka's voice is genuine as is her pleasure at having her newest daughter back with her.

"This is what a Jedi does to silence those they'd rather not bother with at the moment... They twist minds with their powers and then make the person thank them for it.." She shakes her head.

*She thinks about this and nods her head. Her mind goes back to the droid and the voice she heard.*
"There was something strange......the Jedi woman, Adena was setting up a meeting with some guy...his voice didn't sound very human...gave me the creeps actually..."

*She ponders this as the small ship streaks through space about to make the jump to hyperspace*
"I know of few that would own such a machine that Adena would be willing to meet with. I'm sure it will make for an interesting meeting. Though for another time. We must be away from here and from Adena, she is less stable then I suspected."

*She thinks back to the encounter.* "She's manipulative! I could feel her probing my mind and then she knocks me out so she can lock me up and make me go to Coruscant. She was going to take me to Coruscant! I don't like her! She's everything you said."
