I say no. We just need people to know who they can, and cannot beat. For instance... A normal jedi master, non-council, cant beat the head of the council.

HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this looks good on paper, but to truely use a lvl system you would have to bring in so many factors, you would have to make it like a video game, where after so many strikes it gains you a physical bonus or somthing, this would do nothing but cause pain for everyone, and even more if you are a mod or admin. no lvls, not unless we get a in depth lvliing system, and people that are willing to keep track of everyones movments, so as to truelly tell what lvl they are

I pesonallly say no, on a true level system, thats really hard to keep track of when you play free form like we do..but Dex is right an some points..... lets say..Dex could beat adena in a physical fight,,,Adena would beat him when it came to ability, and out whitting him....but Lirreka will always be able to over power adena in that area...Its really a comon sence thing...Tie and Darius are the two " damn near untouchable Fighters...BOTH of them are trained and know what they are doing RL, and thier characters have the backgrounds to make that claim....I cant beat them, and most others can't either, so a padawan who works like a master from day one?..wel you know what Im saying
* use common sence guys

ok i sumtimes get ideas that work and this migtht be 1 of them
we start of with a number of points then divide those points into attributes some attributes would cost more points than others then you get like a master or sume 1 and train as your training progresses your master can decide wether your good enough to get a lvl up in this case you get a few more points to add onto your current attributes mor they could say you gain 1 specific attribute
im still trying to work out all the problems that would occur with fighting tho

IF it goes into further effect we have someone with 20+ years roleplaying experiance looking into a VERY simple system....nothing that would hinder play, but just make sure people who know crap about what they are doing understand limits...and make sure that there are flaws to people to...like me, I might be strong as hell inthe force, and polotics, but Im not a major duelist,,Im good but I know a few that could beat me

ok what if we cut it down to simplist form
start of with * points and a fixed amount of health defence strengh put points on defence strengh health to become stronger certain attributes will cost more pointes and you get extra points from training with a master
when fighting divide player1 strengh strengh by player2 defence and minus that from player 2 health

I think thats because people are thinking character sheets, and math.......Lets put up some examples of what we have been kicking around and see how that floats
I PROMISE PEOPLE< ITS JUST REALLY REALLY SIMPLE THINGS, YOU DONT NEED TO ACTUALLY DO ANYTHING
good rp'rs..or even just being observant will never really notice it, its the munchkins who are flawless who this is fore more or less

Big L is puting it to thought now...but we are looking at a d10 sorta thing.....1-10 scale 3,4 being average ability.....and everyone will be actually figured out by a 20+ yr experianced.......Here, On my sig I put an * EXAMPLE ONLY* of how its looking, but the actual abilitys might be differant *speed and dex is normaly the same thing, and charisma is a needed thing too*
