Not sure about why exar, but fang has a twisted past, and thus twists his thinking into beliving that by killing the sith it will bring back his familey.

I think exar is just doing the hole sith civle war thing. perhpes that is his reasoning.

kun, you want to kill jetzt? well then youw ill have to become more then simply a jedi padawan. As of right now you two fighting would be like me fighting a mosquito. At first you are just in the air with that annoying buzz that mosquitos have, he wouldnt know what it was that was bugging him at first, then once you "sank your teeth in" he would realise it was but a small pest, and smash you with one swing of his fist wile your "teeth" are still in him
ok, so I sounded like a jerk there, but that was meant as a warning/motavation, so dont take it to seriosly
