Have you ever heard of unarmed combat? It's so much nicer than with a saber....hehe

hey Chaos, have you actually started your Force training yet? It took me a while before I got going. If you would like, I can ask around on the Sith site and see if anyone is looking for an apprentice to train...

I started talking to Xanathos about force training, and it's a matter if he says OK to that. I also PMed Veia about possible ways to get out of being an acolyte, or if she could find anyone to train me

That is how I started my training.

be specific though. On the main site (it is near the top of the site) is a list of the Force powers you can learn. Tell him the power that you want to learn and he will train you in that. Because he is trying to train all the Sith at once, I think he will only do a specific power if you ask him.

you dont need training to play, just keep in mind your powers are limited....and powers are overrated unless you have to deal with a player who has no real rp ability and thats the ONLY thing they do......hell, look at my fight With Meph,,,,no force powers used at all actually, and Im the DL....and with that old man I used VERY few powers, mainly powers that acted as decoys

I don't know if I speak for Chaos (so feel free to correct me), but for me personally, I am not comfortable joining random RPs unless I know I am supposed to be a part of it. It is not necessarily a question of training, but (at least for me) a question of whether or not my character would be involved. For some of these RPs, a Sith Apprentice (or even a Knight) would have no reason to be there and so I (we) sit there and read them but don't get involved.

Just think of a way to jump in! but put yourself in someone like Chaos' shoes (or mine not too long ago). as an apprentice with little or no training, why would we be travelling around the galaxy? I was a Sith for 1.5 months before I started training. The last thing on my mind was RPing. i wanted to train to give my character a sense that he belonged on the main site. I had plenty of ideas about what I wanted him to do, but with no training in either the Force or combat, I was nothing more than a glorified NPC.
