Coronation Ball (invitation only)

[Halan]

* step's back from the wall and crosses his arm's*

"i don't know if that was a joke or something but why was i seated next to a person who wouldn't stop talking of how horrible mandalorian's where and about the hundred's of animal's she has, i would rather face thousand's of angry wookie's after my blood than face that women again"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She laughs heartily while she struggles to get air in between the laughter.*

"There was no assigned seating, Mandalore. Who sat you there?"

[Halan]

" well i didn't want to admit it but i sat there myself, so i guess i have no body to blame any way, however one thing that frankly made me think you had lost your mind was why did you invite a sith lord, im almost sure jedi and sith don't get along"

[Adena]

Adena shiftsslightly from her place, having been deep in her own thought for the moment, her arms folded elegantly over her stomach as she casts a sidlong glance twards the wall, as if looking through it,

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She stops laughing and sighs.* "Well, he was told he could attend as long as he caused no problems. Otherwise he would be met with deadly force. It seemed to work."

*She looks back at Adena and turns back to Mandalore.* "I am glad you 'enjoyed' yourself, Mandalore" *She stifles a laugh* "However, I wish to speak to Adena for a few moments privately."

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*He paces in his cell planning his escape.* "They won't get rid of me that easily. Oh no. Those Jedi will pay."

[Halan]

" i need to leave now anyway even mandalorian's need there sleep, good bye and thanks for the invite"

*he turns and walk's past adena and head's for the door*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She strolls over to Adena and lets out a sigh.*

"Well, I don't think Onderon has seen such excitement for a few years. I don't know how I feel about going down in the books as the one with the most exciting Coronation Ball. What is troubling you, Adena?"

[Adena]

Adena shakes her head slighty " your ball went off actually fairly common for this world, as for my thoughts?...I was thinking about something,,well, complex,, but that matters little, you had something on your mind dear, what is that that troubels you?"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She looks down at the lightsabres in her hands and sees something on one of the hilts. She walks over to one of the dimmed lights and holds it up to see it.*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She turns back around to face Adena and smiles a faint smile.* "It was not how I had pictured it in my mind."

*She walks closer to Adena.* "The escapades today have put doubts in the minds of the people. Now it will be up to my actions as to whether they trust me or not and will follow."

*She looks down.* "AJ wasn't here today. I was left with a note from his cousin. He died saving Vo."

[Adena]

Adena offers her a comforting smile and wraps an arm about her in a light embrace " no leader has ever had trust handed to them, it is something that is earned, you will have your ups and downs, public oppinion will be as a pendilum, sway back and fourth...but these are things you must not allow to cloud what you feel is right"
The Matron lowers her gave slightly, her eyes showing no sines of remorse over the fallen AJ, but pride
" Aj was a Jedi Knight, though young and brash he was willing to sacrofice his physical body to help others, he defended his family, and he did it with courage, knowing what was at hand...remember the code Kyra,,,the only part I totally aree with,,,there is no death, there is the force, he is here, he only lacks the shell containing him...his death was a honored one, though his antics...and repair bills will be missed, you only need to reach out, and you will feel him"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She nods her head.* "You are right. I must seek out Bo tomorrow and speak with him. AJ's last wish was for me to give him all of his things."

*She looks up at Adena and smiles. She hugs the woman gently.* "You've been a great friend to me, Adena.....and a good sister."

[Adena]

Adena smiles warmly at this and glances at her with light eyes" as have you Kyra"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She tries to stifle a yawn but fails miserably.* "I should retire. The dawn is beginning to break and there is much to do tomorrow."

*She smiles at Adena.* "I shall see you soon, Adena. Give my best wishes to Shara. I hope you two have enjoyed your honeymoon."

*She hugs her again and turns to leave heading back upstairs to her room. Once inside, she lays the lightsabres down with the note on her dresser and changes. She lets her hair down and slips into her nightgown. She slides under the sheets and falls quickly to sleep.*
