Ultimately such 'houseclearings' as a new election ends up creating more debris to bog things down. It would be good if the NDP gained some ground and I actually know (Or used to know anyway) some of the people in the Green Party. A few of my friends that live in Montreal were mixed about the secession vote, some liked the idea others didn't. I'm not sure what effect having a brand new nation on the border would have for the states. Ultimately as Bac said I'm not directly affected by it all but I have been paying attention to it however. I have friends from New Brunswick to Vancouver and everywhere inbetween so I remain aware for them at least.
