remember when I first posted about that months ago?
I got bored sitting in the studio and actually got two kits they are actually pretty cool
ont down side is is only comes with three emitters, two grips, a few power rings
upside is you can make it doubkle bladed if you want, or attach two kits to make a staff
it came with only three lenses for the " Jedi" clear blade
Red, green, and blue
However I have a purple blade on one, and an acid yellow on the other
take the plastic sheets you can keep comics in, cut out TWO disks, and with a coloured sharpie or a thin paint,, colour ONE side of ONE disk, and place the two disks toget her ( so that the marker/paint is on the inside * so it wont smudge* and boom instant custom blade colour
you can also use hard plastic card holders
Today I took a picture of Aioden holding one, which I'll post soon
hell it's tradition, remember the pic I posted of Brandon with his " fisrt saber" Lol
I also have the Mace fx saber, but found a few people who make custom fx sabers, think I'll have one of them make me a Kun replica, then some utterly origional one with an aqua blade

Man, those things are so cool. I was so close to picking up one of those kits, but I decided against it. I only have an Ep. II Obi-Wan saber.

yeah, I liked the Idea, never got around to picking one up, but Im glad I did, and I love the fact that its easy as hell to just fiddle with it all day, when I get bored, rebuild it
and making custom leses is nice
oh,, the crystals..... they seem worthless right?, nope, by chooseing to put in the green, red, or blue crystal you alter the SOUND your saber will make
Red is more electric sounding, and more of a snap when it extends or collapses
blue has the classic saber sound, but the snap it makes sound more " amped" and growl like
the green crystal basically is like a muscle sound, very rough and menacing sounding

Hmm...maybe there's more to these sabers then I thought. Have you found they're any more durable then the other ones or are they the same?

they seem alittle more than the last ones, you know how the older ones tend to get the sound chip knocked loose, hence muteing the saber slightly?, well these seem alot more stable, the sound chip is alot higher up in the grip,

Hmm...sounds pretty darn good. I have noticed my saber's started to sound a little muffled, maybe that'd explain it. Now these definitely sound like a good buy, as opposed to those 100 dollar ones that don't retract and would probably break after 3 seconds of dueling.

actually those FX ones are great, I have one, not only are they stronger * the tube can withstand upto 3600 pounds of pressure" but they are more comfortable to an adult hand, and the light rises and retracts as a sabers should...the light they have in the dark is White, however the glow is the colours, again just like the movies,, and they have 100 times the sound effects, the slightest movement of your hand, just wavering will make the FX sabers " flutter" in its humming
I use that saber of motion capture, or referances
