Reason for the Insanity

Ok, several have complained about how the dark jedi thing is shaping. Let me share with you what my character is doing and how it will all open up for all of you and make some clearer sense.

Limited persons being let in.- There is a reason for this. In the past this group has been formulated and persons have not acted like Dark Jedi should act. Therefore, I had an idea that it would start with one master and 1-2 apprentices. Once they were trained, an argument/fight will break out and apprentices will prove they have learned all they could learn and seek their own path to self centeredness that Rajani led them down. As a result to that, there will be more masters to take on a new apprentice and it keeps going. There will be more positions opening as the group is firmly established and all see what the dark jedi are really like. I thought this was a good idea and would give you all guidance and a time to develop your character further before everyone rushed to the dark jedi. A diverse character is alot of fun.

Anyhoo, that is the reason for my madness in keeping it down and for the trials. The Dark Jedi have no leaders...it is only master and apprentices and their numbers weren't huge. I promise it won't take that long to open it up further. Now if you want to comment on how I'm doing this, please post below. This is my vision and I'm open to hearing other comments. I just don't want the DJ disappearing like last time because the members of that group didn't know how to act.

Good job, and it's great that we'll be able to have a Dark Jedi faction that will be managed properly so we don't get some crap like 'The Dark Jedi fleet came out of hyperspace' I mean what the hell?!!!

Try to add detail and combine things to make your posts look like this;

*I walk into the cantina and sit down next to "Buddy X"*

thats the main thing, remembering how a class acts,, the sith tend to get played like wild thugs, when infact the Sith are more strict than the Jedi when it comes to following a set line of rules, and traditions

the dark jedi are just as strict, however they are more contented with picking off members of the Jedi one by one, and becoming stronger, though they are not sith, and in truth care little to nothing about ruling a galaxy, just bringing it into chaos

A good example of Dark Jedi(Not the best, but they're the best I can think of) are the Nightsisters of Dathomir.

add in adjectives and verbs to pad it out. Don't do:

Instead, try:

*As I stepped into the bar, the first thing that hit me was the smell, the smell of alcohol, death sticks and other more...unsavoury hobbies filled the air as i felt my sinuses burn slightly. I walked across the carpeted floor, avoiding a puddle of bile as i headed for the bar, accidently shouldering a rodian as I passed. As I sat down at the bar and ordered and ale, my hand ran across the rough wooden surface as a splinter caught itself in my skin. I spent the next few moments picking it out before accepting my drink and taking a sip from the grimy glass.*

I relate Dark Jedi to rangers or assassins in D&D, solitary people, lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Um...There are NO Starforges, I hope you know that....



And Why in the world would a[glow=red,2,300] JEDI[/glow] want to destory the Galaxy? You REALLY need to learn to RP according to how that type of character acts, if any Jedi Characters you make are intended to "Destroy everyone and everything".
