I know, I was wondering why they don't just do what the AFL, and NFL did and merge....having the NFL and CFL merge would make for a good long season too That is an interesting idea, but I think that it might be hard to integrate the CFL into the NFL. The CFL has different rules (3 downs instead of 4, for example). Also, with parity running so rampant in the NFL, it might make for duller games. Of course, I have never seen a CFL game, so they might be interesting. I just think it might be too hard to pull off. |

the only true american spost is basketball,,,,which I hate, and I knoe that football is big in the mid west, and south... and honestly,, you aint traditionally have much else to do except for sports depending on where you live

I read the book and it was really good. I highly recommend it. In my high school (in NY) football players were treated as superior to everyone else (even though they sucked major a$$). I had heard it (HS football) was huge in Texas, and this book really shows how crazy people are down there about their school's team.
