That test was actually hard for me. They had some words on there that I use That were both Southern and Northern. A lot of the ones I chose were common here in Mich.

Since I got 46% Yankee, Then that makes me 54% Dixie or something like that. Makes sense. An ancestor of mine was a Confederate Soldier. Don't know his rank though.

ACTUALLY, gentlemen. The Civil War wasn't entirely based upon slavery. In fact, slavery was a low issue on the agenda. It all came down to many factors....mostly land and who got control over the senate and house of reps.. It was all an issue of power and seats in the government to look after your own interests. Alot of people have forgotten the other issues because fighting over slavery is more of an atrocity. Just wait until you get in college and all these things your teachers taught you in grade school start coming out and showing their true colors....lol
