I want to buy a lightsaber (not the detailed hilt, it has a plastic blade and emits light from it) but dont know which company is better. Theres the official site www.masterreplicas.com but theres also a site called www.parksabers.com. Does anyone know which is the better buy? im thinkin master replicas due to it being a collectors item. |

Yeah Master Replicas is awesome.... I have delt with them in past .. great quality. I just bought the Anakin Skywalker Force effects Revenge of the Sith Light Saber.
It is truely an awesome piece and the sound effects are great. Well worth the money invested .. plus it also looks like the Saber from a New hope

MR is the greatest... The FX sabers are about £100... but they are only replicas.
If you want a saber that is different to those seen on film, go with PS.

okay, now that i decided to go with master replicas which lightsaber is the best one? I heard the Luke- ESB was the best is this true? can anyone confirm this?

ok ... Here is my opinion.... If you are looking for one with sound effects then get the ones that are FX. which will run 110.00 to 119.00 US. Ebay is another way.
I personally like the newest one best: It is the Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker. They made sure it looked very close to the one that Obi 1 gives Luke in A new Hope Episode IV.
I really did not care for the Luke saber from Empire. you would have to look on E Bay for that one since they are out of them at Masters Replicas. The new sabers are closest to Original Prop scale for FX series.
If you want a prop Replica without FX then you would spend 450.00 to 599.00 because they are exact scale to prop used in Movies

thanks for your help. I ended up getting the episode 3 Anakin at spencers for 100, its awesome!
omg, the funniest thing just happened. My brother has one too and we were dueling outside at about midnight, when this cop came along and said he expected to see ten year olds fighting but to his surprise he saw two grown men dueling in the street.
