Krypten Jeth brought The Wraith out of hyperspace above Naboo. While he waited for clearance to land, he reread the holo-ad for the job for the BTC. "This personal aide thing sounds right up my alley." he thought to himself.

A raspy voice sounded over the comm and gave him his landing instructions. After bringing The Wraith in to Theeds, he set the security system and made his way to the BTC's main office, where he informed the receptionist that he was here to meet with Lord Byrax.

[Anton Byrax]

*Stood on the balcony of his office quarters, the young Noble Anton Byrax surveyed the gardens below. The air was warm and he felt a strange sense of being in limbo, the fact that he missed talking to his former aide Grent when events of importance were taking place perhaps were the cause of these feelings.
Things had moved on it was time to find a replacement, and this new candidate might well prove useful.*

"Send him in."

Krypten entered Byrax's office and bowed awkwardly. He was not sure how you greeted a noble. Saluting one didn't seem right...
"Thank you for seeing me Lord Byrax. I believe you recieved my qualifications through the holo-disc I sent you?"

Byrax was taller than he had pictured him to be. Even standing at attention, Krypten was still a few inches shorter.

*Turning around to face the man before him, Anton nodded in kind to the mans bow. looking intently it was obvious the man had no real social standing, Nobility was tangible to Anton Byrax just as the force was to the Jedi. Yet Anton did not want this man for his class but for his ability. The ackwardness of his bow ment nothing other than to show his inexperience in dealing with people such as Anton.
Staring into the mans eyes for a moment, he saw what he was looking for. That instinct.*

"Yes, from what i see you are well qualified for the position. I realise that you are an independant person and so i will not seek to tie you down to the Company, but you must be willing to take certain risks. Of course you will be well paid for your services."

"I was an officer in the Mandalorian Army by the time I was 20. I am confident that I can handle any risks that come my way. Perhaps you could tell me a little about the job and what my responsibilities would be." Krypten winced slightly as he saw Lord Byrax appraising him. While it was true he was not of noble birth, indeed, Mandalorians had no such caste structure, he was an officer and thus entitled to a better lifestyle than the enlisted men...

"Your duties will be to serve as my personal sercurity Officer, that means ensuring that "I" stay alive even if you must fall. I may have need of your skills in other areas from time to time, for example removing any potential thorns from my side. - If you understand what i'm saying. As i said i dont wish to tie you down and so i will be happy to see you take oppurtune employment elsewhere, as long as is doesnt interfere with your primary duty to me."

"I see no problem with that. Bounty hunting is good work, when you can find it, but certain "institutions" frown on it." Krypten had smiled when Lord Byrax had mentioned the possibilities of certain side duties. Krypten had found hunting, whatever the target, to be a most enjoyable experience. Yes, this would indeed be a perfect job for him. Drawing himself up to his full height he spoke again "Well, Lord Byrax, I am at your disposal."

"Good, You may acuire lodgings here on Naboo at the Companies expense. Here is a down payment of 45,000 credits you will be paid at a rate of 6,000 credits per week.
Once you have your things in order i would like you to accompany me to Coruscant, i may be in need of your abilites."

Krypten bowed again, much less awkwardly this time. "Thank you Lord Byrax. You are most generous. It should not take me too long to secure housing. I will return shortly once I am settled in here."
