*Vassur's keen gaze sliced into the shadows as he centered on the muffled moans as he did his best to place the odor before entering. He knew time was precious but first he had to ensure his ability to remain well or all would be for naught.*

The smell was that of rotting flesh and feces. Something or someone had died in here and been left like this. But whom? Just then a rustling was heard along with deep growling. All he had were 6 eyes.....3 pairs....staring at him. He recognized those sounds....kath hounds.
**********************************************
*The gateway opened and the krayt dragon quickly moved towards the tiny morsel in the ring. Yet, that wasn't the only thing in the ring getting her attention. There was a whole meal here in this arena. These Hutts didn't know what they had really on their hands here. Radmila had to think quick as the small beast quickly moved across the sands towards her. It let our a roar of anger at being held in for this long. Nimble feat would only get her so far. Yet, she knew her blaster wasn't strong enough to penetrate the scales on this beast's body. She got an idea and ran towards the beast with a sword in hand. The crowd was shocked at this turn of braveness on behalf of the twi'lek but still rooted the dragon on.*

*He felt the ripples change and knew danger was coming quickly to more than just 'Mila and himself. The Kath hounds were nothing, dangerous yes but nothing he could not handle. Time however was not an ally, it rarely ever was. Vassur removed six throwing spikes from the sleeves of his coat. He considered them tools but they could easily be weapons. Normally he would consider this dishonorable to use such things against noble predators such as the hounds but he had no time to be honorable. He would seek atonement for his actions later. Now was the time for quick death. His arms shot up and out, the spikes flying as fast and as forceful as his powerful limbs would propell them. They cut through the air with a shrill scream as a trail streaking for the hounds most vulnerable point. Those glowing eyes. He would kill them painlessly if he could. This was the quickest and most humane method he possessed.*

The spikes met their mark with startling accuracy. Piercing the flesh of the eye and shattering the bone of the sockets, they found the soft meat of the brain and embedded themselves into it. Howls of pain were cut short as the furry bodies fell to the floor lifeless. The sound like a ticking was heard as a light finally illuminated a slab of a table with a twi'lek fastened tight upon it. Strapped to his body was some kind of explosive device ticking the time away. It was enough to take out half of Mos Eisley if not deactivated in time.
***********************************************
*The beast paused and swung it's head down mouth open trying to take a bite out of Radmila. It's moves were quick and alot faster than her legs could take her. Barely escaping, she slid down into the sand sliding underneath the massive body of the infant dragon. She gritted her teeth as the sand tore at her flesh as if she brushed up against several edges of swords. The blood only caused the dragon to howl with more hunger. Coming to a stop but her time failing, she rose up a little and plunged the blade in between two scales of the softer portion of the dragon's underbelly. The great beast rose up howling in pain and anger. Dark liquid stained her hands and dripped upon her skin almost burning it with it's acid like properties. Holding onto the sword, it attached her to the belly of the beast somewhat protecting her from it's massive jaws. It tried to swat her away as the huge claws raked at her back. As it moved her, the blade wandered inside the flesh and caused the dragon to howl again in anger and pain. Snorting, it looked around at the faces of the frightened spectators. Only a fence of sorts seemed to separate them from the beast. The spectators started panicking and began to scream and flood the aisles trying to escape, but the dragon was already making it's ascent.*

*Vassur was suddenly out of his depth. He was not trained to deal with explosives... This required 'Mila. Checking the time on the device to ensure he had enough time He turned and left the room, heading for the other door. He did not wait but instead bounded across the short distance to deliver a powerful snapkick to the portal. He'd broken mens backs with such a kick before, he doubted the door would stand. Before he struck it he was yelling*
"MILA!!!"

*The door crashed open but the sound couldn't be heard as he saw the arena going crazy. The dragon just made it over the barrier and started moving it's massive jaws towards the people grabbing several and crunching down upon their bodies. It churned 'Mila's stomach but also gave her some satisfaction. These persons who came to celebrate in her death were getting what they deserved. She let go of the sword's hilt leaving it plunged into the stomach of the beast and falls heavily to the ground rolling on her back. The pain from the sand entering the fresh wounds of her back caused her to open her mouth in a silent scream as she struggled to get to her feet. She had to get to her brother. She had no idea of what situation Vassur had already found her brother in.*

*The sight of the Dragon did make him stop for a moment, oh what a battle that would be... he thought but pushed it aside as he dashed over to 'Mila and placed a hand on her shoulder to get her attention. Even As he spoke he bent his will to blunt the pain in her and try to heal a modicum of her wound.*
"Your brother is in the other room. He has a bomb strapped to him and I have no knowledge in how to disable it. Go to him Quickly. I will ensure no one follows you."

*She had clutched to him using him to help pull herself fully to her feet as he spoke those words. Her eyes widened as her half glazed eyes of pain looked at him. She nodded her head unable to say anything as some of the pain seemed to lessen in her body. The dried blood upon her back ripped anew as she pushed herself off of him and went half running, half stumbling out of the arena and back into the fortress. The door to the other room was still left open as she ran in and looked at him. Blinking her eyes several times trying to clear them, her mind struggled to focus on the task at hand. This system was a very complex one. Usual points at which to disable the bomb seemed to be rewired to a secondary trigger and a third, and so on. Hearing her brother groan again, she looked up at him and put her hand to the side of his face whispering softly that it was all going to be ok in their own tongue. Pulling the kit from her belt, she tried to control her breathing hoping to steady her hands. One wrong move and the device would be triggered. Working slowly but diligently, her eyes glanced at the ticking chronos and panic threatened to set in. She had less than 30 seconds to go....

*He slowly backed towards the door, using judicious amounts of pushing via the force to ensure neither of them are followed. He wanted to stay, the hunter in him beckoned him to but he had lives to protect and that always came first. He paused at the doorway, reaching out with his will to 'pull' wreckage from the damaged arena to block the door, no one would be following them now.*

*Sweat filled her brow from the wounds and the frustration of the task before her. Her brother had started mumbling her name over and over again as she worked. Her hands were still shaking.*
10....9.....
*The last wire was before her but was tangled closely with three others that could send them all into a puff of smoke. Her hands were trembling more and her breathing was ragged as sweat fell into her eyes and she tried to blink it away to see.*
..8...7...6...
*Her hand holding the small scissors were moving towards the wire slowly and delicately. Her grip slipped and she cursed as she came close to knicking one of the other wires. She stops for a moment breathing heavily as the almost deadly mistake flows through her mind.*
...5....4....3...
*Hearing her brother utter her name and look at her telling her he was sorry, caused her to smile a little and a tear to fall down her face....*
2....*cut* 0
*Deathly silence filled the room as she held her breath and closed her eyes. She was waiting for what was to come. It was like a deep trance was over her and if she opened her eyes, she would only meet her death.*

*He watched from the doorway, keeping an eye over his shoulder for anyone brave enough to try to get to them. He was not afraid nor worried. Death came to all in time and no amount of fear will change that. It was as all his people believed. Here was where he must be so here is where is would be. After the final click of her cutting wires came and the explosion did not he waited for several moments before finally speaking.*
"Shall I fetch your droid with an applause track or shall we get you and your brother back to your ship?" He never said his sense of humor was good. He found it funny though.

*She sat back on her heels and let out the breath she was holding. It seemed all the strength to hold herself up was gone from exhaustion and relief too. Turning her head slowly towards him, she only said one word.*
"Home."
*Reaching with her fingers towards the claps at her brother's feet, she began to undo them slowly.*

*He nodded, moving to help her with the straps. He didn't even ask as he hauled her up over his shoulder then did the same with her brother, two bodies would be no difficulty for him. Most have seen him walk through various ports with bodies over his shoulder before so they will just move out of his way. He headed for the door*

*She didn't protest as some of the pain won out and she finally let go. Unconciousness was a great way for the body to deal with the pain. Her brother was safe. The ones behind all of this were fleeing for their life or as good as dead. All was ok again for a time. Once they were in the ship, she roused enough to give the commands to her droid to set course for Telos. At least there the opportunity to rest and relax was greater than anywhere else. Plus, there wouldn't be many Jedi around. The more jedi stuck around an area, the fewer jobs there were to be had.*
