OOC Note: I will be using Vassur in this thread. His text will be in blue.
*Tatooine, a backwater if ever there was one. What planet on the Outer Rim wasn't a backwater? Vassur's old CEC PL-nine patrol cruiser fit right in with the rest of the resurrected wrecks that filled the landing bays. The hydralic ramp hesitated and sputtered but finally banged to the ground. The handcuffed man tumbled out to skid across the ground. Vassur had to duck to exit the ship but he kept his eyes on his prisoner.*
"Get up, you're not that hurt but if you make me get you up you will be." Vassur's words were thick with Rimworlds accent but the threat was there regardless. The prisoner, one Bem Rev, got up before the large man got to him.
"You're gonna pay for this boy, You might have got me out of my base but my crew are gonna come for me and then we're gonna slit you open just to hear you squeal." His rotten teeth gave his breath a fetid stench that curled Vassur's lip in disgust. He grabbed the pirate by his shoudlers and lifted him up to eyelevel.
"Do you really think there's any of your crew left alive to come after you? Do I really look like someone that does things subtly? Right now your crew stinks worse than your breath." He hurled the man away from him but not so hard as to take him from his feet.
*He shoved Bem through the halls of what passed as the port until he reached the storefront-turned-office of Cahsmo the Toydarian. Bem opened the door with his head thanks to Vassur's push. The Toydarian flew up laughing as he saw who it was.*
"Ah Bem! Good good and alive too just as you said. Ah Vassur you do good work, yeah yeah. five thousand for Bem." He fluttered over to count out the money but Vassur's hand got to the box first.
"Seven thousand alive. That's what we agreed on." Cahsmo looked at Vassur for several long moments then forced a laugh.
"Uh Yeah yeah dat's right I forgot dat. You earned it dat's for sure. Seven thousand as agreed." He counted out the money and handed it to Vassur who didn't even hesitate to count it. Trust and money especially when a Toydarian was concerned never mixed. "You make a good Bounty Hunter, Vas. You really should get your tag and do it legit."
"I don't hunt people just for money." He said pocketing the cash. Nodding to Cahsmo he favored Bem with one withering look before leaving. He had a ship to get refitted and a few other things to deal with.
"Who is that guy Cahsmo?" Bem asked as a droid fitted him for leg irons.
"Dat's Vassur Naar, the worst kinda hunter. One with Ethics." He shook his head sadly as he activated the comm link to get a hold of Jodo the Hutt, he was the one that put the price on Bem's head afterall.
