Time Passing

Shouldn't we at least have time pass by like five years at best?

Too many things would happen over a period of five years, especially now. It would be too confusing and people would be cheap with saying things like "Well, my character became uBeR pOwErFuLl two years ago." It's just not a good idea.

I think we need to know how long a dayin real life is compared to the forum, like is one day 10 rp days or what?

This is probably something we should vote on also. I know there might be some people who don't want their characters to age...which is bogus but there might be...lol. It would help with wars and other things deciding how time passes. BUT remember this. Your rp's can happen over a period of several days but still be on the same day in rp time. Like a battle going on. Because of your schedule and others, fighting it out in one day might not be possible. So that's a problem in setting up a standard time period passing across the whole board.

I agree on the War thing...Maybe Each Day an RP lasts, it's 2 days RP Time? Unless stated in the First Post, of course.

In the Great War thing I can see this working. However, for the whole board I don't think it's feasible.

I think that it should work like, when an RP starts it starts on the date but then it moves in its own time dictated by the people in it. And we could have like a little date thing. So 3096 BCO (Before the chosen one) so that admins can change the year when neccasery. or we could start at zero or whatever.

I think a week should be a time amount of years...........like a week in real time should be like 3 or 5 years.......

Anyways I like this whole Idea.......I brought this up a few times already but havn't had the time to make it a suggestion.

keep in mind if a week was like 5 year, most of you would be too old to stand a chance against the younger ones, that means I;ve been in power over 40 years, and my children are adults... thats too too exstencive, there is a standard time frame format
