Okay, I'm going to set this whole Revenge of the Sith parallel to rest. Ki-Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, Barriss Offee, Luminara Unduli, Quinlan Vos, Plo Koon and Stass Allie ALL were taken by suprise. There was no way of knowing that they were about to be killed. Yoda, on the otherhand, could feel it through the Force and knew. That is why he could take down the Clones.
With that aside, I shall say this: in the middle of a battle, I can see it happening more than in EpIII. BUT, it is cheap and the person doing it is RPing unfairly. Sorry to say it, but if one lone Jedi Knight is surrounded by dozens of elite soldiers then he is screwed beyond belief.
What's past is past. If anyone sees this happening AFTER the time of this post then report it to an Admin and we will read it over.

Oooooh, ok, I get it now. True. I've always thought of Masters, seeing as how they're the best of the best, as being extremely hard to hit unless they're largely outnumbered or caught off guard... what was it that one book said... 'Fighting one Jedi is like fighting two normal people' or some such thing... yeah.

this should also work with starfighters and such. I wont mention any name but someone trying to take down orbital stations when I clearly say that I was sending hundreds of starfighter at them and they just ignore it, is kinda cheap.

But said unnamed person will just argue that you sending 'hunddreds' of starfighters after them is cheap too, so.... *pets*

Ki-Adi-Mundi saw they turned against him and defended himself. He saw them draw their weapons at him and had the chance to run.

I agree that people take down NPCs way too quickly, and I even admit that I do it too. I will try to limit my powers to what seems fair, and if you think I am being too cheap, then just pm me and Ill be happy to fix it.
But anyway, I agree that one Jee-dai surrounded by a squadron of elite troops is screwed unless hes got some trick up his sleeve like detonaters surrounding him or something. Not that people should just say that 'Oh yeah I placed detonators there two seconds earlier, Boom youre all dead' but that it is possible to escape such a death with good planning and thinking.
But if you suspect someone of being cheap, please pm the person or alert a mod if need be. DO NOT just flame about them or start god-modding yourself, then youre both in trouble.

Jedi Masters that are trained can also use Force teleport. It does nicely to get out of sticky situations provided they are no more than 100 yds away.

Ya know far be it for me to actually point this out but those masters were supposed to die like that because it fit for the storyline. Trying to match that in any RPing Medium is if someone loses their character or NPC. Now the key word there is 'Loses'. We all know that goes down people badly at best. The idea of Losing isn't easy to accept for anyone so that means everyone has to accept only at rare moments of collusion will fights and battles in an RP enviroment will look like what goes on on the big screen.

I think your all missing the point that although these situation are wrong, people generally make a 1 post surround you with troops, or give you no chances to prevent being in a situation and then expect you to just die. When I sent those mines in I gave like 3 posts for Sin to defend, I knew it would fuck him up so you gotta give chances. Both parties are generally involved in wrong doings. If someone said to me thousands of troops begin to run down the street toward you, I’ll run, maybe try to get a decent defence position or hiding place.
