I think there should be a new board...it would be called "Epics".
Is yours gonna be a relaly long thread or a series of threads? Well why not make a new board just for them? That way, little threads won't be like signaled out...

One question: would the "Epics" board be for stories that have multiple threads in them? Like, the Ussej Bac (Darth Mantus)/Laili Rendar/Kit Rendar (Darth Ravinos) story already has a good sixteen threads about it. Where would it go?

1. For Bac: If it is a Fanfiction it stays there. If it is a rp then it goes in Epics if it reaches 20.
2. The Battle to regain Coruscant is a battle. I guess it could count....

Personally, I don't like the idea. It would just add clutter in my opinion. Sometimes you never know how many pages your storyline might take. It might be just a few and it might be several. Keeping it together lets everyone see it. If we separate them, then some people might miss out on an important thread simply because they didn't go there and take a look to see what was happening.
