ADENA's OFFICAL REVIEW OF REVENGE OF THE SITH
(no true spoilers)
Here I am , sitting quite contently after living through the greatest moment of my life.. The screening of EPIII...Now, I do remind you that some of what I see MIGHT still be open for last second editing " Like GL tends to do"
The first thing that caught my attention was the technology used, things are worn down, not as clean and NEW as they had in the previous films,, matching the original trilogy in that way much better, as well as a few trademark craft, such as the Blockade runners, again making more of a classic trilogy tie-in, The Music, imagery and action has reached the limit of perfection, the story is fast, but not confusing, and it had a very Empire strikes back feel to it as far as the sence of dread ( wonder why ) and to me was almost as satisfying as ROTJ,, however it was powerful...Perhaps because I remember seeing the original films in the theater and having waited my entire life for this moment,, I caught myself crying when I saw vader for the first time,, simply because you knew everything from that point on.. And Vader is not that short of a roll, he has a longer screen time then I expected.
The only things I did not like about the movie was General Grievus (sp?) and it is simply for this....he was pointless.... I guess if your 9, 10..and you base your favorites off of look then I guess he is alright, but as far as a character he was more pointless Maul,, and I hated him with a passion,, mainly because there is no real depth to the character,, and they dont last long
WOOKIES!!!! they are bad ass as hell and I love them more, they did them justace, though seeing them enslaved was really rough, no suprise they focused on Chewie alot during it.
Now I really can't say more with out really spoiling things,, but I will say this,, the trailors and other things you've been seeing.....show crap in comparision!
so in closeing, EPIII is the better of the new trilogy, once more focusing on the story alittle bit more than the tech, and by far the most powerful thing I've seen
