Actually 5-6 i would say, maybe lower. Its pretty easy to reach knighthood in d20, then up until level 10's a bitch. Level 10-15 not to taxing but from then on its hell. Your strong but not quite strong enough. And whe nyou reach level 20 (if you ever do) your so strong no one can beat you. But really very few people ever reach level 20, its not because they haven't been playing long enogu hits because they die before they can.

your better of fighting in army's to gain xp then to get owned agaisnt a dark lord
