History: Casius Adama started off like any other new recruit for the Republic. However, his commanding officers noticed his leadership abilities early on in his training and instead of being promoted to "Ensign" or "Private" in the Republic Army, he was given the rank of "Lieutenant Commander".
However, he wasn't happy with his rank. While he was commanding his fellow Trainees before they'd even gotten to Lieutenant, he felt that he shouldn't be treated any differently than another Recruit. He felt that he should've gone through all of the ranks before getting this one.
No matter how much he stated his opinions to his commanding officers, they didn't listen to him. This made him determined to at least perform his duty as a Lieutenant Commander.
He led troops into simulated batles, winning each one with minimal casualties. He created simulated sieges and won those as well. His leaders noticed after his 5th siege.
He was still a Lt. Commander when the Newest War against the sith broke out and led his troops into real battle for the first time. He was a key influence on the few victorys the Republic had, but each time they won, he was noticed by his COs.
It wasn't long until he was an Admiral during the Attack on Coruscant that was led by Jet-Wal. His was one of the few ships that was not damaged.
Now, The Admiral is worn by his time in War. His face is no longer youthfull and charming, but is usually devoid of all emotion and battle-hardened now. He still carries the belief that all soldiers are equal, and seperated only by badges or medals, which is why he doesn't wear much rank insignia. Instead, he prefers just a normal uniform, to show that he is as equal as the starfighter who flies into Hell.
