History: Meghan Lightweave, or Lightspeed to her friends, is not quite your typical kind of girl. She earned her nickname Lightspeed from the fact that at the age of seven she knew hyperdrive engines inside and out, that or it is because she is a total speed freak.. She was born and raised on Ord Mantel and has oil in her blood. She studied nothing but mechanical engineering from childhood and managed to get a scholarship with Ord Mantel Engineering Ltd on Coruscant.
This however was only a facade. In recent years she has become infatuated with the Spacer life and intends to use the Scholarship only to get her to Coruscant so she can find a new life entirely.
She is as handy with a blaster as she is with a hydro-spanner. A sassy girl who takes no bull. She is always full of punch but tends to get very green eyed when she can't have what she wants. She has been described as 'A loose cannon ready to fire'.
