It is from the Science Fiction Novel "Dune"....The name is taken on by Paul Atredies....Last of the House Atredies....after he was left in the desert to die by his rivals. the evil house Harkonnen....Paul and his mother find refuge with the Fremmen a Desert Nomadic people who allow him to join their tribe....he takes upon himself a new name 'Muad'Dib' which means Desert Mouse....and he leads the Fremmen in a revolution to take back "Dune", the desert planet they live on at the time, and end House Harkonnen.....

Bingo! We have a winner! I knew what it was. I was wondering who else did. It is so obscure and easy to forget, but some reason i never forgot that part as they looked up at the moon when he was choosing his new name.

hi there Remer and thanx for the praise, for those not in the know, Sophia Muad'Dib is a character that I have worked on for some years. She started quite a while back in one of my short stories I wrote for a school project. Then I had the chance to bring her to life on Jetzt's first SWRP forum. She is the first character and all my other characters are somehow linked to eachother, and as it turns out their common link is Jedi Master Zex Marquise Peacecraft (aka Darth Tempest). It is VERY long to explain everything, but pay attention folks, Sophia is about to find religion. ;D
