Full name: Shara Amani Qel-Droma (Darth Caireen)

Gender: Female
Species/Race: Echani

She's got a bit of a predjudice problem towards 'lesser' human races, particularly towards Mandalorians, that often blinds her judgement. She's also a bit of a claustrophobic, though she hides it well.
Race History: The Echani are a warrior race of humans that due to their beliefs and centuries of isolation on their homeworld, have made them a breed all their own. . Unlike the Mandalorians; long time rivals, the Echani focused on light weaponry and armour, relying on skill and technique rather than brute force. Sources indicate that females played a large role in their society. The Echani were also known to be able to read feelings and emotion through combat. To an Echani, a combat between two people said more than hours of talking. They saw a certain purity in the way techniques were used in battle

Background:
Shara was born into a traveling clan of Echani warrior's during a pitstop on the planet of Onderon. The clan was far from overjoyed with the child's birth, though the clan was running short on children. The circumastances around her birth were, to say the least, a scandal- she was the result of a fling her already married mother had with an Echani male who was considered a rogue and an outcast. He was a Jedi.
Rather than turn mother and child out as other's of there extremely stodgy race would, her mother's husband kept her as his own and resigned to train her as a warrior, something she excelled at. Over time it became more and more obvious that she was infact Force sensative as her true father had been, but the Echani turned a blind eye to the fact. They cared very little for such 'magic'.
Even with his acceptance she was still largely an outcast to the others of the clan, her only interation with them being martial arts training and the friend she found in one of their clanmate's daughters, Sara Andul.
Eventually she grew up into a strong, well trained Echani warrior. She and Sara ventured forth from the clan to work their own fortunes as was custum, forging their own adventures and lives. It was during these adventures that Shara began to realize her feelings for her friend went well beyond the normal bounds of friendship. She had just worked up the courage to exploit her feelings when during one of their hunts for battle they came across a young headstrong Mandalorian warrior in training. He and Sara were taken with one another from the start, even though both races were strongly against relationships with 'lesser human beings' and as he worked his way into their lives more and more a romance blossomed between them and Shara shoved her feelings deep. A large mistake on her part....
Eventually Mandalorian and Echani secretly wed and Shara was left in a painfuly empty ship all to herself.
When she recieved the news that a child was born between the two she was consumed with jealously but fiegned happiness for her friends sake, taking the time to visit them...
Which turned out to be an even bigger mistake, on her part. A confrontation followed the visit and the overly jealous and enraged Shara lost control, mortally wounding her former friend. Her dying wish was that Shara should look after her young daughter, a promise the Echani girl took to heart and hase sence tried to live up to.
Full of regret and anger Shara left, leaving nothing but an empty cabin and a very upset baby for the Mandalorian to return home to, and returned to the clan, explaining all that had happened. While both mothers were horrified at the thought of an Echani marrying a Mandalorian, they were even more horrified at what Shara had done in return..... you didn't kill those of your own clan, no matter what happened. They were your family, they were your life....
She was exiled promptly and officialy, cast out from the clan forever on pain of death should she return.
Excepting her fate as deserved she left known space to venture in the unknown regions, and what happened there is something she keeps burried deep in her heart, telling none.
Eventually she did return to known space for some unknown reason, seeking out the Jedi. Somewhere along the way she had come to a very important desicion- she was tired of not using her own inate skills because a group of overly traditional old coutes told her it was wrong.
And somewhere in here she and Celestia had a romance, though I don't really know how it fits on her timeline... essentially, Shara used her and then left her, on the grounds that she was just a child. For a long time they were both a little odd about it, but I think we eventually did get some closure and now they have a 'God-Mother' relationship going on....
Anyway...
So she joined the Jedi, and through some twist of fate got apprenticed to Adena Qel-Droma. Old pains forgotten she instantly fell in love with the human woman. Eventually she discovered that the feelings were returned and sometime after her knighthood the two married.
Even married she trained hard with the Jedi, eventually reaching Master status and took her own apprentice, Paul Ketan, with whom she formed a special motherly bond.
When Adena left the Jedi and became Empress of the Sith she loyaly followed her wife to the darkside, though she still harbored some belief that the Force was infact 'grey' rather than light or dark.
Not long ago through some miracle of genetics taught to Adena by the Ebonclaw Shara gave birth to the twins, Inya and Ohtar. Sence then she has been plotting and scheming, attempting to become more involved in the war effort.
After the initial 'loss' of Paul and his adament refusal to joing with her, she's gone on a a bit of an apprentice spree. The young, the strong and the foolish, all of these she's been collecting and training, hoping to fill the loss.... or make him fall from jealousy. Unfortunately for her, all attempts have failed.... in one case one such apprentice, Darick, actually befriended Paul.... royally frustrated, she's gone into searching again....
Another apprentice has seemingly been failed, but one semi useful thng did come from it- a meeting with a former friend, Enishi. After some badgering he got her to take him to see the twins.... were he made a rather grim prediction about the younglings future.
To add to the wieght of misery she's lately been experienceing, Sara 'returned from the dead'. As it turned out, she had never been killed.... just injured. Years and years of buried guilt came flooding back, though at least she finally got the chance to get that forgiveness she'd always craved.
At long last, all that scheming and pain dealing with Paul has payed off- or, rather, he inability to let him go and leave him be. After the initial betrayal of his lover, Arael, he came to her and pledged himself.... and she was all too happy to agree. Look out world, she's got another new apprentice...
Blah, blah, blah, quite a bit of time has passed and I'm not entirely sure what happened to Paul, but anyway... after the taking or Coruscant her thirst to train apprentices died down and she faded into the background, spending most of her time in randome cantinas.
Then she got a not so bright idea into her head and on Coruscant with the help of a young apprentice and a comm convenced the still orbiting Jedi's Light to land, thinking they were on there way to rescue a left behind Padawan.
Shara engaged the Jedi Master Adamis in the Sith outpost and it didn't go so well... essentially she was beaten and taken prisoner. And has been for quite some time now.... ((Plus or minus my few 'in two places at one' adventures.))
Still captive on the Jedi's Light she 'befriended' Captain Marcus with the wonderful powers of seduction and temptation. Blind to her motives he made an attempt to help her escape, tricking the soldiers on board into thinking he had evidence that Master Adamis was a traitor. Shortly after Adamis killed Marcus. Needless to say he was more than a little angry and he and Shara had a bit of an argument. She's wasn't overly upset with how things turned out, however. Her theory is the angrier he gets the closer he'll get to falling.... so far so good.
