This is an idea i came up with on the Cyris forums a while back. Post all and any ship designs used in this RP forum, along with capabilities, armament, fighter capacity etc. as well as any curiosities your ship may have.

NAME: The crusade desciption: my flagship is a basic design for a mandalorian heavy cruiser with modifications to every area of the ship's structure. the ship's shields and engines are where the main modifications have been made, what the ship lacks in fire power it makes up for in speed and toughness. It has sith and jedi spec's encorperated into it's design to improve the ship's systems.
weapons: 100 turbo laser's 75 rotateing laser turrents 50 ion cannons 4 small hex deployers 6 tractor beams 25 close range projectile cannons either bow. 3 torpedo bay's and 5 tubes
crew capacity: 22,000 mandalorians 1000 gunners 20,000 mandalorian troops
cargo: 200 basilisk war droids with crew 1000 deployerable fighters 25,000 metric tons 150 landing craft with fighter escort availble 200 gunship's 2,000 metres long

"The Jedi's Light" A captured Hyperspace interdiction cruiser, about 580 metres long, that Adamis claimed after the crew was wiped out in a rescue mission. It has been taken over by the Jedi and converted to serve as a flying enclave for small training groups and the Flag ship of the Jedi fleet and small ships. Weapons: 25 quad laser cannons; 2 gravity well projectors; 2 tractor beams; 3 ion cannons and 5 turbolasers Star fighters: 4 docking bays that hold the 3 squadrons commanded by Kellan and a spare bay for visiting Jedi. Crew: 4000 Personal in total *The Jedi's Light is also now supported by 5 Vorcia Class Light Cruisers of Ebonclaw design. These each house the 12 required crew, a shuttle pilot, 50 commados, 12 fighter-pilots and their starfighters as well as a single Dursi Class Armed Courier in the Light Transport Configuration. These ships have 8 turret-mounted heavy-dual laser cannons and a pair of fire-linked belly-mounted photon torpedo and 3 of them are configured with the standard high-yield heavy ion cannon while the other two have the alternative set of 6 fire-linked concussion missile or ion missle racks. The 3 Ion cannon Vorcias are called 'Jedi's Star', 'Jedi's Wisdom' and 'Jedi's Courage' while the misslie rank Voricas are called 'Firestorm' and 'Windstrike'. These ships help to keep the galaxy a better place.* *Also serving in the Jedi fleet are 8 Dursi Class Armed Courier in the Light Transport Configuration (Ebonclaw design) which serve as assault shuttles for the commando forces that live on the fleet ships. 5 of the Dursis are on the 5 Vorcia Light Crusiers (one on each ship) while the last three are on the Jedi's Light. 2 of those on the Jedi's Light have the wing cannons can be replaced by a dual laser cannon turrets and an additional pair of turrets and are used when the mission calls for a small group are needed to get into a heavyly defended area where the extra firepower is a huge help.*

[glow=blue,4,300] The Ivory Goddess[/glow] Class: Dragon Claw-hard fleash Super carrier Leangth: 4,000 meters holds two full wings of matured Rift Rippers room for 144 ships as well as 200 other combat, and support craft, supports utilities for 40,000 ground troops and support it featured over four hundred turbo blaster batteries, as well as 250 Ion batteries, all of which are able to target seperatly from one another. Being a living craft, the Ivory Goddess is able to be commanded telepathicly by Adena, or Lirreka, aside from its technical weapons the craft also holds pockets in its armored fleash that open to emit molten plasma, able to melt through most hulls A single shadow caster is equiped to keep ships in its range from escaping into hyperspace:

Goddamn, I'm not a master at this stuff but I think trying to manage 400 turbo lasers targeting different things at once MUST wear out the controllers mind quite a bit... (And the controlled one to) Edit: And I did forget the 250 Ion batteries to...

You may be right but I think there’s a reason why god didn't give us 650 fingers. Getting a lock on with the guns also depleting the energy firing them all around able at once, the strain of keeping the shields up, maneuvering, taking orders from a two creepy little midgets (Well compared to the ship that is) and keeping up the target locked with all guns. To do all that at once you would need at least a big enough brain to have some type of independent intelligence... (Edited to make more sense)

look up at the images...the "beard" is a very sensative nerve center, allowing to feel, and pinpoint the many targets, the energy depletion is a issue, however is reduced by the " wings" which not onlyact as solar sails, but also as solor pannels, drawing in radiation from the solor winds and breaking them down into readily used energy, sorta how a plant breaks down light

Ahh thanks; it makes sorta a lot of sense. I know of a half weakness of it. It lacks 'sensors' at the back, which would be the best place of attack, if you wished to attack such a colossal thing. (There are many things I would like to ask about it, but I don’t really wanna spam this place and hell, it will be a loong time at this rate before I can even think of getting massive assed capitol class ships)
