"Very well."
He watched as the battle commenced below. It wasn't so much a battle as it was a massacre. Avangus suddenly found himself enjoying the pain, and grinned slightly. His hands twitched a bit. He wanted to help, to fight. He would follow the Dark Lord's orders, however. He wasn't ready to fight with anyone on that level.

((I don't think many people will mind if I post again - I have this hunch that I won't be posting for a major part of this battle as I live in Australia ><)) One seemingly small ‘circle’ that started from the centre was complete soon enough, it was black and radiated with a slight force aura; a darkened one that seemed corrupt, black of black. Standing up Ashido semi admired his work and moved briskly to the centre of this circle. Forming a type of rune in his hand he started to mutter, “Darkness in the souls of the land, follow the beast who leads you; he is your master and let it not be a matter of life, the un-death is a curse and at the end of this, it shall be shared as more souls darkened by your path will take your place.” At the end of this he started to go into a forgotten language as the force seemed to move around him in a small tornado. A feeling came to the force senstives around the area and it didn't feel quite right... It was like eating sour lemons ((Or warheads )) and tasting dirt.

Avangus felt that, and his rage tripled. His eyes seemed to shine with an unhealthy glow of hatred. He had seen that before, and had seen it's effects. He, without realizing it, began to store all his hatred into his weapon... when the time came to use it, he would cause some chaos.

Large groups of heavy cruiser and dreadnought moved away from the main bulk of the Trade Federation Fleets and immediately opened fire on all side of the enemy armada save the top in a attempt to make the fighter and the smaller vessel buckle and fall into their own ranks.
Invidius waved his hand over the communications control. A hologram of a Sith Officer of the Macabre Alliance appeared before him. "Your orders, M'lord?"
"Reinforce the forward position at once, Commander, and stand by for further orders."

::Toxis had an uneasy feeling as he stood on the bridge of the Invictor. But, then again, he had been nervous all along. He had known silently that this was the testing day to see how strong the glue held together in the Macabre Alliance. So, the Sith lord had come ina bit nervous. However, something was heightening his suspicions. He decided to open up a comm to Darth Apocolus, his long finger pressing onto the button. Making sure everyone was out of earshot, he spoke to the future Dark Lord.::
::comm:: "Mi'lord, this is Lord Toxis reporting for duty. What the hell is going to happen here? What should I do?" ::comm::
::As he stood waiting for the Dark Lord to reply, Toxis ordered the bridge cleared for a moment. He didn't want the change of vital plans being intercepted, although, there probably wasn't any. Besides, this war was Sith lord business, not that of a common foot soldier.::

A hazy voice was heard buzzing over the comm. “Be patient, there will be a time for your intervention,” it said.

::comm:: "Yes, Lord Apocolus. I will be ready for any job you need me to complete, mi'lord." ::comm::
::The Sith Lord unsealed the bridge and the crew slowly filtered back in. Toxis watched them man their positions once more and sighed. His nervousness had been misguided. He had been aiming it at his alliance, his best friend Lord Invidius and the new Dark Lord, rather then towards the battle ahead. Pulling his hood over his head, he walked down the corridors and into a large meditation chamber where he sat on the ground and began meditating. The Dark Side of the force swirled around him in powerful red waves, and the Lord sucked it in, becoming more powerful by the second. And finally, he was relaxed.::

"Commander, open fire on the main Military Barracks and Communication grids. Every gun, maximum power."
For their part, the droid officers of the Trade Federation did not hesitate. The order was relayed and carried out within the space of a single second. Invidius and the other Sith Lord could feel the decks of the Relentless vibrate as volley after glowing volley tore through the atmosphere. Command centers, military barracks and hundreds if not thousands of lives disappeared in a fireblossom of purifying light. The world itself shook, clouds of vapor and debris swirling for dozens of miles around the impact site.
After the orbital strike was fired, massive dropships began to land on the planet, disgorging vast armies of battle droid and tanks. The Dark Lord's apprentice himself, landed on the planet and quickly made his way toward the Valley of the Dark Lords with a entire squadron of his most trusted troops: The Dark Nebula Storm Warriors.

Sgt. Maxus walks in to the area.
"Lords what will you have me do?"

*He heard the destruction coming from outside of the Temples. He ran to his balcony to see command centers exploding and Sith dying all over.*
"Macabre..."
*He threw on his robes, as that is all he truly needed, and grabed his lightsaber. He ignited it, the crimson blade shimmering in the sunlight. He ran outside of his chambers to be met by two Macabre thugs. They charged him, but Mantus was lucky enough to have a balcony behind him. He stepped aside to watch the two weaklings plummet to their deaths.*
"The things we do for frequent flyer mileage..."
*He ran ever-so-slightly down the corridor steps and was met by a task force of Macabre.*
We have been waiting for you, Lord Mantus..., the Macabre said.
*Mantus ran around a corner and planted a thermal detonator on the wall.*
Mantus, come out with your hands up..., the Macabre demanded.
*The Macabre turned the corner to see nothing. They looked around as they heard click...click...click. Before they knew what was happening, it was too late. They were blown to pieces, with Lord Mantus watching from the top of the steps. He jumped down and ran out the door, ignoring the Macabre that tried to stop him. He looked. He stood on the mountaintop that overlooked the Valley of the Dark Lords. Out of the crowd, he found the one he was looking for...the former Grand Admiral Invidius. Calling of his strength, he lept down crevese by crevese until he landed on a Macabre soldier. He turned to Invidius.*
"You...it is time...just you and me..."

The soon-to-be Dark Lord's apprentice watched Mantus walk toward him with utmost scrutiny. Finally a foe that might be worthy of his attention, someone who could truly test his mettle! In a swift motion he threw away his dark mantle on the scorched earth. He stood there in the seemingly desert environment that broke up the monotony of kilometers of rocky mesas canyons and arroyos. Silent and motionless, watching, waiting, until he spoke in a balefully tone of voice.
"Step aside soldiers, this one his mine..."
Invidius raised his weapon, the double bladed lightsaber, and triggered the power control. Twin lances of pure mutilating energy boiled forth at once, hissing and crackling in crimson loops that began and ended at the two flux apertures on either end of the device. He gritted his blackened teeth, and awaited Mantus to make his move...

*He threw his cloak to the side, and once more drew his lightsaber. He laughed as Invidius told his troops to back away.*
"That's right...you wouldn't want to get hurt, now would you?"
*The crimson blade grew in his hand: crimson like the evening sky, letting those who watch it know that they are in for a long, cold, dark night. Crimson: the color of blood, that which would be spilled this day, here on Korriban. Mantus knew that it should not be like this. He knew what Empress Viea wanted: Darth Ravinos as her successor and then Darth Mantus...Apprentice to the Dark Lord of the Sith. But, times change. He thought of Laili and little Ussej for a moment and how, after this fight, he may never see them again. Invidius is indeed a foe, one who would be worthy of the title of Dark Lord as well. But, he has one fatal flaw that most Sith have...he is arrogant. But, alas, Mantus knew that someone today may have to die. Mantus knew that it could be him. He once thought he could live forever, but after his experiences during this war and with Laili's pregnancy, he knew that all things die. Eventually, even the stars burn out. He whispered to himself...*
"Even the stars burn out...I finally understand it..."
*Mantus knew that what he has been doing with the Jedi and the Sith was all wrong. He didn't belong here, he belonged with Laili. Because, eventually, even the stars burn out. He may have thought that he had all the time in the world, but it wasn't true. He thought of his times with Laili and cherished them in his heart...one that had just become considerably less black. But, this fight was no longer for dominance over the Sith...it was for doing what was right. If Invidius and his Master became the...leaders...of this galaxy, things would be terrible forever. Perhaps that is what the vision had told him? Perhaps he was shown a vision of dark times to come to make him realize that he had to try and fight the darkness. If that was the motive of the Force...it worked. This fight was now for what was right. He would fight Invidius to try to right a wrong he once made. Today is the day that decides forever. If the Sith Lord Darth Mantus...well, perhaps he is now Ussej Padric Bac once more...succeeds today, justice and peace may return. If he fails...the Force will grow more and more dark until one day...all hope will be lost. He prayed to the Force that said day would never come. He knew what he had to do...*
"Even the stars burn out...I shall do what I must, Lord Invidius. I always do what I must...that is what it means to be Ussej Bac...forever. Even if I fail and you succedd, I will have no guilt over today. I will have tried to do what is best, whether it works or not. I am ready..."
*He places his saber into an defensive position, allowing the possible future-Dark Lord of the Sith to make the first move...*
"Your move, exalted one..."

Ashido sighed, as his two hands separated and one had immediately hit the floor, the rune placed onto it had seemingly grew brightness, from a pitch black to a foreboding red. The force had seemed to 'snap' as the commands of his had ended, Ashido smiled, "Welcome to my house, the first phase has been complete." A pitch black darkness started to cover the sun of Korriban, all light emanating from it started to stop with a sudden halt and the stars blinked out one by one and the only things illumining this system was the vast fleets that the two forces held.
A comm. had reached Furys ship from one of his capitols, "My Lord, help us, something has come. Unable to do any..." Suddenly it broke off and ending with a loud scream; something wasn't right about the ship when any force user looked at it. Cries of this type had bordered from 26 different ships across the Armada.

*a TA Transport ship was launched from the siege and began landing in the main tomb site. Keanu Grabbed his Gold Sabers and put on his Full Body Battle Armor while he looked at the 6 droids he had requested 4 S3 Hunter droids and 2 02 Sentinal droids to guard the ship along with the Ship side turrets. They began to Descend it didnt take long to Land a few minutes or so the transport doors opened and keanu and company walked out of it. The darkness of korriban refreshed keanu's power as he began to walk towards the acadamy while his company shooted the loyal shit troopers*

A cold freezing touch scraped across the flesh of Darth Mantus and Invidius alike. The cold grew over them like ivy swelling over a shattered wall. Penetrating their souls and minds in a way that caused them deep pain, not the pain of agony, but of sorrow and guilt. The light around seemingly began to fade, even the blood red of their lightsabers looked like it might blow away like sand in a desert. “Lord Mantus,” a cold and worrying voice sounded from the darkness consuming them. Footsteps fell onto their ears, piercing eyes seemed to bore through them as the clanging of metal boots on rock came close. A chilling and raspy breathe flew ominously about them, and then all of a sudden his figure appeared. His face was shrouded in jet black darkness beneath his hood. Only the top of his chin was highlighted in the dim red cascading toward him. His black robe surrounded him entirely, its lined fabric caught the light upon its rivets. “I see into you heart, into your soul, I see Laili..” the sadistic voice emanated form the darkness where his mouth would presumably be.
