*Sable grinned, Selae was nearly lost to the Darkness, more bestial than being now. That might serve Sable. She focused her will, using the fragmentary knowledge she possessed that wasn't entirely corrupt and imbued her pike with it. The dark gray metal pinged and popped as if being heated by a forge fire. Silver bled over the gray bringing a glimmer to it which reflected in Sable's hair.*
"Not knowing just irks you doesn't it Selae? It eats at you like a gnawing hunger that can't be sated. Well I can tell you this much, you'll never reach them. I've seen to that. Here's another bit of wisdom for you."
*She spun the pike in a circle even as she ignited the short saber, vibrant blue in hue. Suddenly she took a deep breath and broke out in a pure-toned song, one with a melody laced with the brightness of the Lightside.*
" Oh raise up the Aft shields, train the weapons too. Set the mighty starship's course and keep us straight and true. The deeds we do here historians extol. We are the crews that keep the peace on the border patrol."

*In a fit of rage and anger, she bends over and breathes heavily. Her long brown hair falls over her face as one would think she was having cramps or something. It was then that she quickly raised up and let out such an horrific scream powered by the Force that even the wildlife ran far from the area. Her silver eyes look into the eyes of Sable with such hatred in them. Her chest still heaves as she speaks low and almost too quiet. It was a sudden change from her former scream that it could barely be heard as the scream still seemed to echo in the wilds.*
"No matter. She won't live long. As for you, you have information that I need. Tell me, Sable, and I'll make your death a quick one."

*The scream did not shake her, she was expecting it. She knew Selae well enough to know what would drive her to attack. She grinned at her. That self-same 'oh so superior' grin of knowing what others don't.*
"Dear Selae are you so sure you want to take that tact? I've tortured more poor souls then you could imagine in your worst nightmares. Do you truly think you can force me to tell you anything? You poor deluded child. Whatever am I going to do with you?"
*Even as she used those carefully crafted words to drive Selae mad with rage she swiftly twisted her pike and fired off a blaster bolt at her just as the effects of her words hit home.. It would probably not succeed but there was a slim chance.*

*She growled with rage as her lightsabers came to her grasp and ignited. It was just in time too as she used one to deflect the bolt away from her. Taking steady steps towards Sable, she had a look of such determination never seen before.*
"Stop with your intimidation. You can't scare me now...there was a time but not now. Tell me how to trap Kyra and destroy her forever. Tell me how to bring myself to my full potential. I know you know. TELL ME!"

*Sable spins the long shafted pike around, moving to the side to force Selae away from the ship. The grin on her face is all but triumphant*
"Indeed I do know how, I know that and much more. I know how to leech the Darkside from others to add to your own might, I know how to call and bind darkside spirits and wraiths. I know how to plunge my hand into the heart of Darkness itself and wrench free virulent energies to forge artifacts of wicked evil and you will have none of it from me Selae. How does it feel to face someone you cannot intimidate someone you cannot break. I made you and no amount of suffering you inflict will ever change that."
*In her heart there was a sea of calm waters, not the spikey torrent that usually came when she fought but peace. It was eerie in a way but also soothing. She wondered if this was what Jedi felt in battle. Even as part of her mind pondered this aspect she maintained a guard position, one taught to her so long ago that the fact she remembered it was as astonishing as her remembering the words to that song.*

*She continues to walk forward moving with Sable. It was like a cat taunting it's prey finding the right weakness to flaunt and attack.*
"You forgot something, Sable. You created this body but you didn't create me. You don't even come near to that amount of glory. You have been a thorn in my side for far too long. It is time for your creation to take the place of it's creator."
*She lunges forward and swings both blades in a blur of blue light. One was aimed at her right hand while the other swung in the same direction towards her abdomen. She wanted to see this woman ripped into two pieces.*

*The advantages of a pike were manifold but right now it allowed Sable to block both attacks with a spin of the long hafted weapon. She backpeddled at the same time drawing Selae further and further away from the Ship and Arael.*
"Oh are you so certain of that? I am one-hundred-and-forty-seven years old, I can easily have been your grandmother, great-grandmother and then some. Do you think Onderon was exempt from my travels until YOU were queen? Oh how self-centered the young are." She laughted and thrust towards Selae with the pike's axe-head aiming for her chest, it was only a jab and would likely be blocked but it would give her another opening.

*The ax came towards her chest with added momentum from the weight and gravity. She brought both blades up in an x formation to block the blade as she snarled with rage. She raised them up and swung the blades out trying to push her away.*
"Save your breath old woman, I would hate to have you dying in front of me from a heart attack instead of my blades."

*It was the move she expect, the one most used by the two saber crowd. As Selae pushed the axehead up and away Sable sought to remind her that a pike had two ends. She twisted the weapon completing the arc bringing the butt end of the weapon up hoping to catch Selae on the chin, it was blunt but it would still hurt. She needed to injure Selae, force her rage to grow.*

*She cursed as the other end of the pike came up and slammed into her chin sending her reeling backwards. She caught herself and glared at Sable with such contempt but also a coolness. The darkness about her seemed to grow as she closed her eyes preparing her next attack. Quickly she reached out a hand towards Sable and closed the fist as she tried to raise her up into the air and crush her trachea.*

*She felt the force tighten around her and begin to cut off her wind. She had only seconds to act. The blaster luckily mounted in the butt end of the pike belched out three rapid fire bolts towards Selae, accuacy sacrified for repetition and speed. She had to break her concentration or this battle was over.*

*She howled in frustration as she let go of the old woman and twirled her blades around deflecting the bolts. She wanted to send at least one back to the old woman.*

*Sable's laughter danced on the evening air as she whirled away the deadly force of the rebounded blaster bolt mostly blocked by her cape but the impact enough to knock her away from Selae. She tried to keep her balance but stumbled and sent her pike skittering across the ground as she sprawled there.*

*She reached her hand out and used the Force to call the fallen pike into her hands. Stepping closer to Sable, she watched with glee as the woman lay there upon the ground.*
"Give up, old woman and tell me what I want to know. We could be allies...."

*She rolled over and looked up at Selae, she breathed heavily as she watched the younger woman. Sable had to admit it she was all but spent. Without the Darkside to sustain her she was indeed an old woman. A sad smile came to her as she shook her head.*
"If only you had asked that before Viea stole from me and left her humanity in its stead, though even then I doubt you would truly honor any alliance between us. What you want from me I will not give. What you desire you should never have. I have seen to it that you'll never obtain it. My Dark lore dies with me." She chuckled "It is strange, I have never held the light in my heart before. How could you ever abandon this for darkness?"
