*She watches him amused as the toxin takes it's toll on his body. Slowly it would continue to eat away at his skin until there was no skin left. She never had stayed to actually watch it work before. Selae beamed with pride like a parent praising their child for a good job done.*
"This is only the beginning, Barzai. With each layer you shed, you lose more body fluids. Even your strength is beatable. How does it feel to lie there knowing your life will be short? No glory on the battlefield, but a slow, painful wasting away. No honor......just shame. Shame and then death. Such a way to go for a general."
*She pulls out a pair of gloves and reaches out to grab him by the neck sqeezing his airway as she hoists his face up to look her in the eyes*

*He felt weak and perhaps it would go as she said but he had felt worse. He glared at her but did not raise his hands despite having the strength to. Let your enemy think you are strong where you are weak and weak where you are strong, that was the first law of warfare.*
"You don't know me." He murmurs as his neck muscles provide him with more then enough airway.

*She rolls her eyes at his comment. He really needed to get a new line. Disgusted, she let go of his head and patted him on the chest. With the pat, more of his skin was displaced and she smiled at him.*
"I don't know you? I can see through you now."
*She chuckles at her own joke. She stands up and pulls the glove off and throws it down on him.*
"I'd love to stay and chat about how much I don't know you, but I have other things on my agenda. Namely killing your precious Kyra off forever. So, please forgive me for not staying to watch you breath your last."
*She had faith in her virus. It would take care of him. She limps away while leaving him in the alley. It was time to pay Sable a visit.*

*She left, he lay still, his body all but shut down by this toxin. There he lay for hours, time passing in a haze for him, Selae's laughter, Kyra's last words to him and the heat, the feverous heat. Soon like in any jungle the scavengers crept from hiding to see what could be looted from the stranger not that there was much left to be taken. sometimes there's dead and then theres Dead. Barzai was neither. The first scavenger found out as a massive hand clamped down on his throat.*
"How long has she been gone?" His voice was a croak but clear enough.
"T-t-t-two hours m-maybe less." He stammered then gurgled as Barzai lifted him from the ground as he stood up, He was weakened from the toxin but not killed, not peeled of his flesh beyond the first shedding. It wasn't strong enough, now it would never be. Once fought always remembered.
"For that you live." Barzai dropped him to the ground and stalked off if somewhat unsteadly towards his ship. There might be a trail for him to follow.
