"Yes he was my friend my brother you might say, do you know him?"

Aelous looked deep into her eyes, some thing seemed to tell him the answer yet he was compelled to ask any way. Aelous gave her his full attention at that moment, as if something told him to listen. It was as if time slowed down around him as he looked into her eyes.

She furrowed her brows and looked away. Trying to take her mind off of her feelings towards Kit Rendar, she kicked her feet in the water a little.

Know of him only. His sister and I grew up together and were friends. That was ages ago though. I lost track of the Rendar family after he fell. I couldn't stay on Corellia. And Laili...well, Laili insisted on going after Kit and trying to save him. I never heard from her again.

Aelous eyes widen with shock and surprise as he heard this.

"Kit has, he has fallen to the dark side?"

A million thoughts enter aelous head, how could kit fall to the dark side it was unthinkable and almost unbelievable but he could tell she was telling the truth. There must be a way to save him he thought to him self he cant have gone fully over to the dark side not the kit i know not my friend.

She simply nodded her head but looked at him as she could see the distress this news brought him.

The news came not long after the Sith threatened Corellia when they took Centerpoint. Citizens were scared to death and the Jedi weren't moving quickly. Rumor has it he did it to save us, but I don't see how giving yourself to the Sith is a way to save anything. Laili never knew her brother. He didn't even know of his existence but she wouldn't listen to me. She ran off trying to find him. I haven't heard anything from her since. For all I know, he's killed her like the countless others he's killed. He isn't the man he once was. It was a major blow to lose the head of the Academy on Corellia.

She picked up some rocks and threw them into the lake with force.

Damn Rendars. Their sense of honor and family are their own undoing.

"Calm your self do not get upset, i have had dark times before."

Aelous smiled at her hoping it would make her feel better, deep down he was worried but the jedi training he had help him suppress this feel, Yet there was one feeling he could not suppress. Aelous closed his eyes for a few moments taking deep breaths and exhaling them slowly hoping this would calm him down it had little success.

She pulls her feet out of the water and draws her legs up close to her as she rests her head on her knees and looks at him.

How do you do that? How is it you can remain so calm after learning this? It's something I never understood about Jedi. You can't just shut off your emotions. It's alright to feel anger at the right times. It just isn't natural to not feel anything.

Clearly, she didn't understand Jedi training at all. Few civilians do. Jedi seem to be these superhuman beings in their eyes. Beings that children worshipped and pretended to be when playing. However, recently the Jedi had failed these same persons. Children no longer even played in the streets as Jedi hunting down bad people. Their faith in them had been fractured.

Aelous looks at her with a smile.

"I feel i have just been trained to suppress and resist certain feelings but we cant always resist them some times they get the better of us."

Aelous stretches his legs leaning back against looking into her eyes once more. Aelous knew witch feelings he was talking

"You know you have really pretty eyes." He said with a smile.

The color rose to her cheeks as she turned her head hoping to hide the embarassment.

She caught herself blushing and quickly raised her head and reached for her boots. Her eyebrows furrowed as she cleared her throat.

I should...I should probably get going.

Aelous smile left his face.

"Please don't stay with me."

He reached out not thinking grabbing her hand gently, his heart beat increased again he didn't mean to grab her hand it just happened like many things in aelous life. He didn't want her to go he didn't want to be alone again as he had been so many time be for this, he wanted to be with her.

She turned her head to face him as her green eyes shifted looking into each of his deeply. There was something behind them that caused her to pause. She didn't know what she was doing. Dropping her boots, she looked down breaking the eye contact.

I can't stay for much longer. There's jobs to do...

She raised her eyes again the mountain tops trying to occupy her thoughts with something else. She couldn't be feeling this.

Aelous was happy that she stayed even if it was for only a while but to him it didn't matter to him. He saw the he still had her hand in his he wanted to let go but he didn't he couldn't bring him self to do it.

"Thank you." He said with a smile

His heart beat slowed but it seemed to pound in his head but even that faded after a while. Aelous looked at her again this time he could not turn away from her no matter what happened at that moment he couldn't turn from her.

She can feel his eyes on her and doesn't like the feeling she gets from it. Turning her eyes, she looks directly into his own and stops for a moment. Lowering her gaze she turns away again.

Please don't look at me like that. It makes me uncomfortable.

Aelous quickly turns his head from her a sad look on his face.

"I...im sorry i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Aelous quickly turns his head back to the horizon wishing he hadn't done what he had and fought the urge to look again he did not wish to upset her.

What are you going to do? About Kit?

She turns her eyes back to him looking into their depths. There was so much sadness in them that it broke her heart and she barely knew the man.

Aelous turned back to her.

"Ill do what i can to help him he was is my friend and i will try to save him."

Aelous said this the best he could, kit deserved his help aelous owed him his life the least he could do is to try and save kit even from him self.
