Darth Invidius was utterly surprised by such a attack. Neverthless he moved aside, dodging both the incoming bullet and the shattered object.

The Dark Side of the Force began to swelled around Invidius, creating a tight spiral of crimson energy and in a amazing display of swordmanship, The Sith Lord jumped headlong into battle agasnt the Dematri. Sparks were all he could glimpse as he unleashed upon Devlen endless barrages of well-placed lightsaber strike.

*devlen deflects the lightsaber blows with expert timing. he leaps backwards and then charges invidius in a stab with all of his might*

The Sith Lord attempted to moved aside but it was too late: Devlen's lightsabers left a deep wound on Invidius's shoulder. Enraged by this he quickly plunged into the Force allowing it to flow throughout his body.

Invidius hands were now aglow with a blue haze. He pointed his fingers directly toward Devlen and fired a terrible blast of dark force lightning upon him....At point blank range.....

*devlen is thrown back by the lightning, and is barely able to get up. the lightning is still upon him, and so his movement is hindered.... but, invidius beholds something he has witnessed before...*

*devlen holds up his hand and it is surrounded with a purple light, it explodes into a maelstrom of Lightning and it quickly draws back invidius's energy off of devlen and continues to combat the deadly electric bolts...*

Invidius laughed wickedly and greatly amplify the already calamitous streams of lightning in a bold attempt to completely overwhelm the Dematri Prince......He had been foolish enough to challenge Darth Invidius into a duel....Now he would pay for his overconfidence!

*devlen is thrown back slightly by the increase in power... he then stabilizes himself and increases the magnitude of the bolts as well. with his offhand he fires through the lightning and at invidius, all while using the force to maintain steady control over the electric blast*

*After falling asleep in the middle of combat, I wake up with a start. I look around, reignite my lightsabres, and instantly remember whats happening. And, in an amazing turn of events, I had been unharmed as well.

Quick as a flash, I see what's happening in the duel, and start absorbing some of the electricity, redirecting it towards myself. My electrical capitance belt, in combination with the Force, allowed me to channel the energy like a lightning rod.


Electricity flows through my arms and legs like a snake, causing the hair to stand on end. But in another instant, I gather the energy from the belt, add a bit of my own Force Lightning to it, and send the massive energy back to its owner, Devlen.*

"Thanks for the loan, Devlen! Dont worry, I accounted for the interest, it's in there!"

With a shout of rage, Invidius moved aside dodging the bullets and breaking off the Force Lightning. He let the dark side burn through him and swung around in a deadly arc, channeling all of his fury into a single, devastating blow aiming directly for Devlen's chest.

*in a display in pure luck itself, Devlen jumps sideways over the deadly blade and kicks invidius in the back of the head. he leaps backwards and begins to fire, electricity still visible in his veins and hair.*
