*Raviel smiled as he made his way through the palace to the meeting room where the Jedi Council had gathered discussing how this war was going. Onderon had become more and more important in the Republic's recovery effort. This news he knew Selae would be pleased to hear. He stepped into the chambers never letting his guard down as Arael and quietly took a seat.*

Noren continued talking to the other masters. "We must not allow this treatury to continue, to many have gone," he said.

:.Lance was listening to Noren speak, and he saw Arael walk in from the corner of his eye. He thought it was odd that Arael was avoiding this talk, and suddenly she just wanted to come in and listen. A guise of his arch enemy kyra perhaps? If so, he couldn't reveal his real identity to the council with Arael there. But, how could he be sure? The senior master was near the head master's chair, and was leaning comfortably back in his chair. He felt a disturbance within the force, and he put on a guise to his face to hide what he felt. Maybe it was just him; maybe it was Arael, but you could never too sure.
He knew a way to see if this was the true Arael, but he would save that for later. For now, especially in this time in the galaxy, caution was needed.
:::::TO NOREN VIA THE FORCE::::
[glow=orange,7,300]Heed your words, young one. There is something wrong, a disturbance. I do not know what. Try not talking of anything that important to our order, or the republic.[/glow]
:.He was careful to keep it only to his ears; he didn't want anyone intercepting it through the force. Nonchalantly, he bowed his head towards Arael, and made a tired yawn.:
"I trust Onderon is going well, Your Grace?"

*Raviel knew how to play this down very well. Arael's face showed a weariness and a sadness as she nodded her head.*
"As well as can be expected. The staff are still upset over how I dealt with Kyra, but there was no other choice. Onderon is safe now. I'm not sure if the Ebonclaws can be trusted though. I've been thinking over some things Kyra had said when she was herself. What if we've all been played? What if Lirreka and Viea have had some sort of hidden alliance all along? Do we really want to risk relying on them for supplies only to be playing into some hidden plan of theirs? You don't know Lirreka as I do. I think we should sever our relationship with them for our own preservance."

*The holoimage that showed the still tied up Adamis turned to Arael, a surprising look on his face.* "Is that so? Well are you not a daughter of Lirreka and have spend many years with her and have been trained by her? Have you ever seen anything that would suggest that Lirreka would over look her hate for Viea and form an Alliance with her? And besides I am having extended talks with her about a possible alliance. If she truely wanted us dead would she truely even consider this deal we hope to make? You of course being the council's expert witness for all things Ebonclawish."

*With a slight stutter, the image of Boli returned into plain sight, hooded and cloaked as the hol-image displayed the acid rain of Vjun pouring down around the rocky shelter the Master sat under. Despite the turmoil of the planet, Boli remained contrastingly calm, his bright eyes flickering around the room. He then noticed 'Arael', and hesiatated, his eyes staying on her for slightly longer than normal, then the continued around the room.*
"I apologize for the bad connection..Vjun's having quite a storm at the moment. I managed to hold onto audio, however. Ariel, do not let your reservations for Lirreka get in the way. To be completely honest, we need all the help we can get. Unless we start making alliances, the Republic may be destroyed."
*Boli used this chance of talking with 'Ariel' to focus on her mind through the holo-image. It seemed to be the queen, but there was something there...something that didn't quite fit.*

*Raviel knew this wouldn't be an easy task before them. He took a deep breath and looked at them all with the expression he had seen on Arael's face when she found out that Kyra was dead.*
"Kyra was deeply conflicted when I last faced her. She claimed that Lirreka was a major part of her turning to the dark side. I don't know what to believe. I do know that Lirreka would do anything for the house. She has seduced persons to her side in the past by treating them as they would want to be treated. In truth, Lirreka hates humans. They aren't civilized. I have seen this first hand and even worked a little with Mandalore in this manner. She isn't as innocent as she appears. Lirreka is a very powerful and dangerous woman. If you had seen the way she attacked Gurv's ship when he tried to kidnap me......"
*She stops and shakes her head.*
"I'll never forget that day. She acted like a mad woman. "

"Most women do act like madwomen when they see their children, be it biological or not, being kidnapped. And we all know that Lirreka is dangerous, hell she does have an Empire behind her, but I think that is what we need at the moment. Someone to help win back the Republic and who will be hopefully content with the systems she already has."

"And you are aware she has taken Hapes for herself then? A once Republic held world she is now in control of. Let's be reasonable and not foolish here, masters."

OOC: Young one? "Foolish, Foolish you say? Foolishness is the result of ignorance, is it your intention to speak this over us? Or are you perhaps in a state of mental contradiction?" He said, his eyes staring openly out out Arael.

*She puts her elbow on the table and rubs her temples as she lets out a sigh of weariness.*
"Of course not. Things...things have just been so difficult ever since the Sith have taken over. I have watched countless refugees running to Onderon for protection. The people are scared and for good reason. The tensions in Onderon are so high and nerves are shot. Those once believed to be trusted have only proven to be hidden enemies. How much longer is the council going to sit by and allow this manipulation by the Sith into the highest ranks of the Republic and even the Jedi continue? Onderon has reached her capacity of being able to safely house refugees. More and more pour in each day. You don't see the things I see. The sith know we are regrouping and they will attack again. Don't you see it? By having Lirreka help guard us, we are opening ourselves up for take over. She took Hapes. What is to stop her from taking Onderon as well? She has already taken a moon of Onderon and set up a research facility. This was done under my mother when she was queen. If she trusted Lirreka to guard Onderon once, why did she suddenly turn her back on her? Something doesn't add up. I don't mean to step on the toes of the Council at all, but the decisions facing Onderon affect me as queen. I may only be a Jedi Knight, but I am responsible for all persons staying on Onderon at this time."
*Raviel was hoping he was getting his point across. Surely Arael was trusted by the council.*

"Enough! Arael, I may not know Lirreka as well as you but from what I have seen of her and experienced with the Ebonclaws I do not believe she will go back on her word. She quite obivously has the capacity to be cruel, but she is not so cruel as to be evil, more indifferent. I believe that while the Jedi and Sith are at two ends of the spectrum of good and evil, Lirreka and the Ebonclaws are more in the middle than any major faction that we know of. Know I believe Lirreka and the Ebonclaws are honorable people and I do not believe that they would go back on their word to protect this system. I also know that, even though Lirreka loves Adena, she hates her alter-ego Viea, thereby canceling out your Sith-Ebonclaw alliance. I for one vote to keep relations with the Ebonclaws firmly open!"

*Boli's eyes darkened slightly. Something was definately up. Boli's knowledge on this 'Arael' was fuzzy, but he'd always felt soemthing through the Field. Arael, likle Kyra, had been a gem in his minds eye, a silvery light, constantly changing. At the moment, Arael's light was dimmer. She was still the silvery crystal, but it was darker, harder...Possibly through past ordeals? Boli continued brooding on this as he spoke.*
"I agree with Adamis. The Ebonclaw appear trustworhty at the moment. I too vote to keep all ties with the Ebonclaw open."

Noren looked weary, he had clearly been very busy with many arrangements and his resolve was not as high as usual. “I agree with the rest of the council, we have no choice but to trust the Ebonclaw, if we break ties they will immediately take action, if we don’t it is a possibility they will take action. However, there is much danger in our paths, the future is clouded, and much that must be seen cannot. I believe we need to be extra careful, we can no longer allow things to go under our noses.” He said, looking about the other Masters reaction.
