"Dark colors make me look like I'm sick or something. I filtered a worm into the Nav-systems so the coordinates of certain planets are deleted." She says that like it's nothing important and looks over to Kyra and giggles at her questoin "I'm doing very well mother, Father's been dreadfully busy with this war thingie he's having with uncle 'Vid. How are you Mother? Can we go on that picnic you mentioned last time?" She smiles hopefully.

Well Kyra I HAD let her have more free reign of her ship...
*A paniced expression crossed Kytari's face.*
I'm joking Kytari. Just make sure that that worm is removed. You should be getting your ship soon. Start looking at ships you are interested in.

"Why have her remove it, Ravinos? It would be good practice for your men. One can never be too cautious."
*She chuckled and moved towards Kytari.*
"You know. When I was your age, I was a bounty hunter. It's obvious your father is underestimating your skills. Give him time. He's new to this sort of thing. As for the picnic.."
*She frowns for a moment. If Kytari were to go with her now, she might come to harm by Ranka or the Jedi after they learned of her deeds...Selae couldn't risk losing a daughter this powerful. She was safer here for now. Yet, Selae knew it would break her heart.*
"Things on Onderon aren't very good right now, dear. Your mother has been very busy in trying to keep the peace. There are many after me that might try to do you harm right now."
*She puts her hand on the side of the girl's face and tries to say this as lovingly as she can but it has trouble coming out of her mouth.*
"I would hate to see any harm come to you. Especially, when I've just had you brought into my life."

*She recovers her demeanor about to stand up to her Father when Kyra speaks up. She smiled at that, her mother backing her up though not exactly for the same reason as she did it. She's crestfallen at the cancellation of the Picnic but she knew her Mother was right even though it chaffed to not be able to spend time with her. She looked over to her father*
"I'm not going to remove it, Father. There are worlds out there that I don't want the Sith to destroy. They're pretty and peaceful and have no bearing on things. It's better they stay lost." She grins "Besides I've seen your computer people, they couldn't find the worm even if I told them where to look. You taught me too well how to do stuff like that when I was little, you and Nan were always fiddling with this or that computer, disabling the Sith using their own infrastructure to do it." She giggled but sobered quickly "I understand if this means you're not going to get me a ship, I'm willing to make that sacrifice to keep those worlds safe. That was something you taught me too." She bows her head, she really wanted that ship but principles had to come first.

Well, fine. But I never said you weren't getting a ship. In fact I believe its your birthday soon... if your mother doesnt mind that should be an excellent day for you to get your ship.

*She almost missed her que as she was thinking of the girl's talent with the computer and her ability to sabotage the records.*
"Hmm? Oh, I have no objection. A girl should have the freedom to come and go as she pleases. There is so much to see and explore. I would stay away from the previously held worlds where Jedi Temples once were. The Sith like to get trigger happy around those areas. Or perhaps..."
*Oh her idea was too great. If she promised to show her where the Jedi hid it might change her view a little. Especially if one particular Jedi wasn't acting like a true Jedi....like Raviel as Arael.*

"Well it would be either Father's Sith or Uncle 'Vids so I don't think they'd do anything to me." Gads was she naive! The talk of her birthday and the ship still being hers brought a smile back to her face which lit up the room. She flung herself at her Father hugging him "Oh thank you Daddy!" She squealed and turned to bound over to Selae and hug her just as exuberantly.

*After Kytari had come out of nowhere with her massive hug, he felt slightly uneasy with Kytari not being able to tell it was Selae and not Kyra.*
Kytari, Invidius and I are fighting right now and he is against me and Viea. He's not necessarily worthy of uncle status anymore. And his soldiers might try to hurt you. Your mother had a good suggestion. But I am glad you are happy about your ship.
*Something was up with Selae. She had plans for his daughter. He wasn't going to reveal his ace in the hole to his daughter until he found out what she was up to a bit more.

*This child was too happy for Selae. She had some habits that she would need to be broken of. Especially her clinginess. She was a young woman and she should act as such.*
"Kytari, I don't know if you are aware, but you are technically a princess now. Perhaps it is time we sent you to learn how to act like a proper lady. Who knows. You one day might rule Onderon."

"I'm sorry Mother, I'm trying to but you don't know what it is to wish every day of your life since you were six years old to have your Mother back again, to get a chance to tell her how much you love her and how much she matters to you." She looks up to Selae, her eyes filled with tears "I want you to be proud of me."

We are both proud of the young woman you are Kytari. I couldn't be happier with you. But I agree with your mother. As much as your bubbly personality is good, there are times and places for it. I am sure you are already well accustomed to that though.

"I know you're both important people and I should behave more properly. I'll do my best to make sure you're never embarassed or displeased with me or my actions." Her words are earnest and her desire to please them so evident on her face.

*She leaned back and kissed Kytari on the forehead before looking into her eyes and smiling at her. Her hand went to her chin pulling her face to face her own.*
"There's nothing you could do that would change our love for you, Kytari. You are our daughter and I can assure you that even your father and I have our moments when we don't act as we should. I only ask that you be yourself and do your best. You have a good head on your shoulders and already know what is right. My only wish is that you aren't caught so off guard by how things are done in a royal court as I was. You are a strong and brave young woman. It will serve you well."
