"Lets just say that we had a run in while in Coruscant and she rubbed me the wrong way. She seems to me to have little reguard for other Governments laws and regulations."

"Of course. She doesn't give a damn about the Republic... or the Sith, for that matter. I just hope Adamis isn't making a very big mistake, trusting her like this...." She trailed off, expression shifting into a thoughtful frown. For good measure.
"You know... maybe..."

"Maybe what?"

"Nothing. Never mind." Shara laced her fingers together, twisting them nervously. It wasn't a complete act... she wasn't sure how to handle him. All out seduction, pity, gradual trust gaining.... she wouldn't be surprised if none of them worked. And it bothered her greatly. It'd never before taken her so long to crack someone.
"I was just thinking... it would be a horrible thing if she betrayed him. For all that I don't like him, he's a good man."

"I know he is a good man, I wouldn't follow him if he wasn't. But that is why I am here, to point out little things like that and to help protect him and the fleet if she even trys to betray us."

"If you could get rid of her.... would you?" She gazed at him, mildly curious.

"Of course, but I am not about to go against Adamis's orders or try and kill or kick her off the ship when we are still under her fleets guns. Not a very smart idea to get myself and the rest of the fleet killed now is it."

"Indeed, I suppose you're right. It wouldn't be smart at all..." Shara sighed. She hadn't though of that.
"Marcus, if I may call you that, do you ever leave this ship?" it was a bit of a randome question on her part, but she -was- curious. "You and the rest of the crew... it's like you're married to this thing."

"We do get shore-leave and the fleet commandos do go on missions. Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering." Shara flashed him a relatively warm smile.
"I was trying to understand how you can handle being so... soldier-like all the time. It seems very lonely...."

"Its the sacrifice I make to protect people. I may not have many friends or family any more but I am doing my part to try and protect the innocent people who can't do that themselves. If I have to be lonely to do that, then so be it."

"You sound like a Jedi." Shara murmered, though not unkindly. " 'Our life is sacrifice'. You should be very proud of yourself for being able to hold up so long. It is very noble."
Timidly she reached up and rested a hand on his chest, carefully gauging his reactions. There was a very thin line between subtle and over doing it with these things.
"I couldn't do it..."

*A look of surprise flashed across Marcus's face. How could this be? A sith that was actually A) showing her feelings and B) seemingly being kind to him, even though they were enemies.* "Um..... ahhhh......well you see......"

"What?" She arched an amused eyebrow. Seemingly unaware of their activities she alowed her fingers to wander, gently caressing...
"You know... I am not as heartless as some would say I am, Marcus. In a lot of ways, we are very much alike. I do my duty, as you do. Even though I do not enjoy it...."

"Um, well yes I'm, ah, sure you do, but you, well, are a Sith. We are, um, on different sides of a war. Your people, just, well kill for power."
