She shook her head,

"He was a friend. I enjoyed his company too much to let harm come to him... though I never really 'kept him safe'..."

"Oh really? Well, he'd would have wanted me to help you."

"I think I hurt him, more than anything..." She honestly had no clue. She'd never heard if A.J. had had any reaction to her falling, or what said reaction might have been...

"And how would you get me out? Guards everywhere.... and they wouldn't be willing to just let me walk free."

She shook her head. It was too much to hope for that he could do anything to help her current state of imprisonment.

"All I'd have to do is say that I was taking you to the Council for punishment. No questions asked. But, you'll have to stay in here until Adamis is finished with whatever he wants with you."

[Shara]

"That simple?"

Shara frowned, considering. She really didn't want to sit around and wait for Adamis.... but if it meant freedome in the end it would be worth it.

"But what if they find out? They will surely realize who did it..."

"If they find out? Who cares? I'd go before the Council, face my punishment, and my career as a Jedi is possibly over."

[Shara]

"Who cares? But... they'd cast you out! You're entire way of life destroyed, for the likes of me. It's not worth it."

Shara stared at him in bewilderment. It didn't make sence to her.

"But..... still... how could you possibly stand to give it all up? For something as foolish as this?" She spread her hands, gesturing at herself.

"Yeah, so I was a friend of your cousin's.... that is hardly a logical reason..." To her mind, anyway.
